teaching kids to play the guitar with best and easiest chords

Beginners Guitar Lesson 5

A recap of the material covered and planning for future guitar lessons

This lesson is a very important staging post when it comes to helping someone to become an effective guitar player

It is the stage when the ability to change between eight chords in time to music starts to be developed into the accumulationt of a repertoire and where technical abilities are further developed by learning more advanced (bar) chord shapes and single note playing is introducedlp1

Developing an effective "Guitar Repertoire"

The best way for a teacher (and a student) to regard the development of repertoire is to set out to have them play (and sing!) a range of songs (or fragments of songs such as choruses etc) and to not worry too much about them being perfect
